It’s also the starting point for one of the country’s most popular hikes – the route from Theth to Valbona.
Theth is known for its rich history and traditional Albanian architecture. The stone towers and old stone houses, built in the distinctive “kula” style, are characteristic of the region and contribute to the village’s atmosphere. Theth also has a deep cultural heritage, with old traditions, music, and folklore. The village is home to the Saint John the Baptist Church, one of the oldest churches in the area.
